OOTD: A Splash Of Pink & Lace

New Look Gold Flower Necklace

On Saturday i was lucky enough to be able to attend the Big Bloggers Conference in London. You can see more about it in my previous post here. To quickly sum it up, i had a fantastic time. I actually went to the event in my wheelchair, but stood up during our lunch break to get some outfit photos as i really liked what i was wearing that day.

This gorgeous pink skater dress is from ASOS and is made of a crepe material, which is quite heavy, but you can tell that it's because it's well made. The dress has an underlay which i really like and a crew neckline. I really like the fact that the skirt is pleated too, and the semi-sheer insert at the waist just adds some great details. For me, i can get the look of wearing a crop top with this dress without actually showing my stomach, which i am quite happy about, as i definitely wouldn't feel comfortable in a normal crop top.

This dress made me feel so girly and i absolutely love the shade of pink! I kept accessories to a minimum as i think the dress had some nice details of it's own without me having to add statement pieces. I'm wearing this kind of flower outline necklace which i think is quite sweet and goes with this girly theme. I'm wearing some slim gold rings which you can't see unfortunately, but they aren't anything special. I'm wearing my all time favourite shoes - the lace up flats! I think they finish off the outfit quite nicely! In the last photo, you can see me with my friend Chelsey who i spent most of the day with at the Conference. Her blog is Fashionista on a Budget if you fancy taking a look.
