Dress&Cardigan: Charity Shop. Tights: Topshop. Necklace&Belt: New Look.
I bought this dress from one of my local charity shops, I don't own many velvet items, so i was really drawn to this piece when i saw it on the clothes rail. Was £8 well spent! It fits nicely but It's a bit on the short side for my liking though, and poofs out at the waist which irritates me. I've got a small belt on to keep in the 'poofyness', it worked thankfully. This looks kind of dark, yet quite British due to the cricket style cardigan. The nautical and British theme are very intwine this season, so i've incorporated a gold anchor necklace too. This outfit is a little different to something i'd usually wear but i thought it'd be nice to try something new.
I'm going to a club tonight in London called DSTRKT with my friend Chloe. It's a proper classy club and i actually have a dress which i'm looking forward to wearing as it's a bit differnt. Should be good. Free entry and free drinks is always a plus. (Really is about who you know) Means i've only got to pay for my travel, so i've topped up my oyster card with £10, and hopefully that's all i'll have to pay out! Really am going all out before my operation!
