Purple & Green

X XX XXXX XXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX Top(*): Blue Vanilla
Skirt: New Look
Shoes(*): Barratts
Nails: Barry M Speedy Quick Dry - Pole Position

This top was sent to me from Blue Vanilla to review. First off, i absolutely love the colour of it. I find that this green colour really seems to suit me. The zip detailing on the front is really quite nice, and it's nothing like the things i already have in my wardrobe. It's a knitted material, and it's quite thick, meaning it's actually quite warm. You don't really need to wear a top underneath it as you can't actually see through the knitwear, though i am wearing one underneath as it's quite chilly today. I really like the quality of this material, and the zip isn't like some zips that you get that are really hard to do up and quite stiff, this one goes up easily without ease.. I think the colour goes really well the colour of my skirt, which i'd say is a purpley-blue tone and is also ribbed. The textures of the top and the skirt are quite different, and i think that can sometimes make an outfit really stand out. I was thinking that a fedora would look quite nice with this outfit, but it was just far too windy to risk wearing one.

Dress: Fashion Union
Shoes, Sunglasses & Wire Ring: New Look
Rings: Primark
Nails: Barry M Speedy Quick Dry - Lap Of Honour

I bought this dress from New Look, it was in their part of the store where the boutiques are, and this dress was actually infact from Fashion Union. I love the colours on this dress, the pastel pink colour along with the grey and the black, and the pattern, come together to make a really beautiful dress. My favourite part of this dress and one of the main reasons of me buying it was due to the fact it's layered. I think the layered effect on dresses gives such a nice, flattering look, and for me i find it looks good on my figure, as well as me finding it really comfortable to wear. I have a couple layered dresses, but this is the first one with a print on it, and i really like it and am now on the hunt for more similar to this. I forgot to take a photo of my shoes in this outfit, but i'm wearing black patent loafers. Also, don't you think the blossom on the tree is just beautiful? I think it was such a nice background for these photos and it really compliments the dress.

Lazing on a sunny afternoon

Dress: Primark
Blazer: Vintage
Shoes(*): Barratts
Bracelet: Pandora
Rings: New Look

These photos were shot on such a lovely day. The sun on my face, the wind in my hair. It was just beautiful! Why can't England have more days like this?
I bought this dress from Primark, it was one of Primarks more expensive items, but it was definitely an item worth buying. Money put to good use i say! I love this Victorian-esque pattern, it's one of my favourite patterns. I even had the walls in my bedroom wallpapered with this pattern on once upon a time. I got this dress a size up as i wanted it a little bit bigger, as to not be suffocated by it, and it sits exactly how i wanted it to. I love skater dresses, there my go to dress, so when i saw this, there was no doubt in my mind that i was going to buy it. Normally, i tend to stay away from white items of clothing, and even though i didn't try this on in the shop, like i normally would with white items, i'm so glad i bought it, as i think it's actually really flattering. To wear with this dress, i went for a vintage blazer that i own, it's deep pink colour looks great against the dress, and the boldness of both items, creates a lovely outfit. This blazer has small shoulder pads, which isn't too noticeable probably because it's a smidge too big for me. I've kept accessories to quite a minimum, just wearing my usual watch and wire ring and Pandora bracelet. I've added a couple other simple gold rings too, which i think look nice with my pastel orange nails.
