These black velvet elf shorts look nice with any coloured vest top or long sleeved top, so although these shorts are quite odd they are very versatile and fun to work with. I've layered the pink lace top over a long sleeved black top, because otherwise the lace top would show too much skin, and i would freeze in these extreme tempratures! Once again, i'm wearing my trusted black knitted tights, they go with everything, and are real warm. Definately advise you invest in a pair, for £10, there perfecto! I tucked the long black sleeve top and pink lace top into the shorts to give a baggy look to the top. Personally, i believe that it looks better tucked into the shorts then it would if they were left to hang loose. Jewellry wise i'm wearing a bird ring which Sam got for me, it adds a bit of oomph to the outfit, without drawing attention away from it. I believe that this looks, although very simple is quite classy and upperclass. Could be worn with a pair of brogues for a dainty look, a pair of uggs for a cute look, or with heels for a more classy looking approach.

That lace really works on you. I've been thinking of investing in knitted tights too to keep wearing shorts and skirts in the winter time. I also like your velvet shorts.
