October Favourites 2015

Saturday 7 November 2015

You've probably been able to guess what this post is, it's October Favourites time! I am aware that i missed a September Favourites post but there wasn't anything that screamed favourite at me at the time. I know i have left this October Fav's a little late to post this as i've been busy, but i have a few great favourites that i'm looking forward to sharing with you

I absolutely love Chelsea Boots, i wear them all year round, but as we're approaching Winter i thought it was time i bought a new pair. I bought them from New Look and they were £24.99 and they're so comfortable, i didn't even have to wear them in! They've got a small chunky heel which gives me a little bit of height but still allows me to get around easily. These are a firm favourite this month!

I've been using these wipes to take my makeup off recently, and they do a great job. I've got sensitive skin, but these don't irritate my skin or my eyes which i'm happy about. They take my makeup off quite easily and leave my skin feeling fresh.

(The Bloggers Blog Awards)
I was lucky enough to be shortlisted for Best Longstanding Fashion Blog in the Bloggers Blog Awards. I went to the awards ceremony on the 3rd of October and although i didn't have the best time, i did meet some lovely people, and i won loads on the raffle! (you can read my post on it here)

(Rosie and Jacobs Wedding)
Two of my friends got married in October and it was a beautiful ceremony, and yes i did shed a tear during it. Rosie looked absolutely incredible and i'm so happy for them both because they're perfect together. I had a really good time, and even tried to have a little dance at the reception, with my crutch in hand.

Firstly, i know the outside labelling has worn off, but that just shows it's a well used product. This is a favourite all year round, but it definitely helped me out a lot during October! I wear shade fair which is actually perfect for my skin tone and this concealer really does hide imperfections. For the wedding i went to, i only applied it once when initially doing my makeup and you couldn't see any blemishes or anything throughout the day. I 100% recommend this product.

When i posted a haul featuring this mascara i had used it once and i wasn't too impressed. After using it a few more times i fell in love. It really does stand by it's name and give your eyelashes a false effect. After using this my eyelashes look a lot longer and full, but still separated. I'm a huge fan of this mascara now!

This lipstick and lip liner combo is my current favourite. They are both from Urban Decay in the shade venom and i just absolutely love them. They're quite creamy and neither feel dry on the lips which is a major plus for me. The pigmentation of both is amazing too! I'm useless at applying lipsticks well but when i do get it right it looks fab and i get so many compliments. The venom shade is a deep purple colour, perfect for Autumn and Winter!
