Shirt: (*) Karma Vintage
Skirt: H&M

I was sent this beautiful oversized shirt from Karma Vintage, and i head over heels fell in love with it. The diamond detailing is beautiful and the bib like look is such a nice touch and i love the ribbed detailing on it too. Together the diamonds and the ribbed bib creates such a lovely look, really sculpting the shirt. The different coloured diamonds that are symmetrical  on the shirt is fabulous too, something i didn't notice at first, but when i did notice it, i realised just what a great effect is has on the shirt. I decided to wear this shirt with a red skirt to emphasize the detailing on it, which i think is highlighted really well. I've worn two gold rings to compliments the gold outline of the diamonds on the shirt which i think works well as it's so subtle.

Starting Off: Skincare

STARTING OFF #1: Skincare

DSCF1096

So skin. Something we all have and don't all properly look after. Well if your a female like me, than you'll know that finding a good remover for your make-up is hard, one that is specific to your skin type too. I have normal skin, sometimes a tad on the dry side, sometimes a tad on the oily side, but it's never specifically either. I do have sensitive skin though and it took me ages to finally come across a good make-up remover without coming out blotchy, or my eyes being really irritated. So my mum suggested using babywipes and i couldn't be happier with them. It's easier to take around with you, and can be bought quite easily from any drugstores, such as Boots or Superdrug. It's all in all just easier too, i mean as opposed to buying a specific 'well known' make-up remover that they may not stock in a small store or even a local drug store. Plus there's all the stuff you've got to buy to take it off with correctly. Okay, so normally just tissues or cotton wool, but still i find that this is a lot more efficient. They also smell not too bad either, and if they're good enough for babies they've got to be more than good enough - skin wise - for us!

I use one wipe to take off my eye make-up, no irritation is caused and it comes off quite easily and gently without any OTT scrubbing needed.
I use one wipe to take off my facial make-up, once again no irritation is caused, and it also comes off easily. I'm a bit of a clean freak when it comes to taking it off my skin as i don't want my pores clogging up, so i do scrub probably harder than need be.

That's my main skincare advice, always get a make-up remover that is suited to your skin to avoid irritation etc. This is my go to product and i'm always sure to carry a pack around with me in my bag for any make-up emergencies!

Top: New Look
Skirt: Topshop
Necklace: Charity Shop

Yes, i am wearing a crop top. I know, mad right!? Who'd of thought it! Yes i was majorly self concious, hence wearing it with a high waisted skirt, but i did it, and i'm rather proud of myself. To all you with perfect bodies who can just wear them without a second thought i hate you. :). But yeah, i really love this top, despite it being a crop! I'm not gonna' lie i'd of much preferred it if it was of normal length, but i really love the way the black mesh on the arm gives a kind of grunge look and that white going up over one of the shoulders just adds class. I love it. Wearing with this bright red skirt to add a big burst of colour. The skirt sits really nicely which is always a plus and i love the little flare of it.

So, i had a hospital appointment yesterday as i've got something wrong with my stomach, since i was born actually. May need to have a couple operations and/or procedures to help the problem so i'm feeling positive yet down about it. I mean no one wants operations or procedures done to them, but at the same time i'm happy she took me seriously and action is finally going to be taken. I also went on a date the other day..... yes a date. to the golf course in the evening, and i genuinely didn't realise how much fun i was going to have. I took charge of the putting, safe to say i'm not very good, but it was actually a right laugh. So keep your fingers crossed for me that this all goes well!

Top: Vintage
Leggings: Boohoo
Ring: New Look

First post with my new hair. It's hard finding things that actually go with the colour of your hair when you've been a certain colour for so long. This is my dads top, and my mum actually wore it when she was pregnant with me. So this tee is over 20 years old, and still in tact and who'd of thought i'd be wearing this top, like seriously. Pretty crazy right?! These leggings i recently bought, and i've been oozing to wear them, and i think due to the multi coloured tones within the top, it looks great with this pair of vertical striped monochrome leggings. I think the combination is fabulous, and actually looks better than expected.

So i'm coming to terms with the colour of my new hair, it's really growing on me actually (thankfully!) I'm really happy with the change actually, a nice change is always good, and was most definitely needed in this case!

I needed a change, and on an impulsive whim i decided to dye my hair brown. Would love to know what y'all think as i'm still a bit uncertain. I've been told it makes me look more like Victoria Beckham, but personally i think it just makes me look more pale haha.

Moroccan Oil Treatment Review

Monday 19 August 2013

z zz

I was sent this lovely 25ml sample size of Moroccan Oil, something i've only ever heard good things about, so i was rather excited when Amazing Hair contacted me in association, asking if i'd like to review a treatment of it for myself. I was a bit wary about using it, but the instructions were very clear and it wasn't hard to apply or get out of the jar either. I poured a small squidge into my palm and applied to my damp hair. (can also be applied to dry hair) The results can only be described as fantastic. Not only did it smell incredible, therefore making my hair smell divine, it also left my hair feeling silky smooth. This is definitely a product i would recommend you go out and buy, because i know when my sample runs out, that's exactly what i'll be doing. Considering you only use a small amount too, it's bound to last you a good while too!

Sweet Revenge

Blazer: Topshop via Charity Shop
Ring & Top: New Look
Leggings: Boohoo

How cute is this tee, i'm loving the print on it, and it's got such a festival-esque feel to it. Due to the colour tones in the print on the top, i thought this pale pink blazer would be the perfect piece to add to this outfit. I'm wearing this pair of disco pants, which i finally bought and surprisingly, despite thinking i was going to hate them, absolutely love them. I wear leggings a lot when i'm slouching about, so to be able to wear these and still look stylish.. well that's just added bonus. I also got a vertical striped monochrome pair too!

I'm off for a few drinks with some friends tonight, but definitely need to squeeze a nap in first, barely slept a wink last night! Hope you all have a good weekend!

And breathe me

Jacket: Selfridges via Charity Shop
Necklace & Dress: (*) Peacocks
I was sent a lovely little package from Peacocks with a few beautiful gift pieces inside. This dress happened to be my favourite. It is unfortunately a little on the big side for my, so the little tie along the midriff is tied tightly at the back because it swamped me a little bit. I decided to go for  a typical classy look, and considering this tea dress is so exquisite with gorgeous detailing, i thought this jacket was a perfect combination. This necklace i had a bit of trouble with, unfortunately it arrived broken, but me and mumsy managed to fix it, and after these photos were taken it broke again, but that could just be a faulty product in the batch or something but the necklace truly is beautiful and the pop of colour against the dress and jacket is lovely. I love the design of the necklace, and the colours of the little pear drops are stunning too. Would definitely recommend Peacocks for their beautiful jewellery and womenswear collection!
